2010 Summer Missions Project
Tim Chapman, former member of the Steve Pettit Evangelistic Team and a six-year summer staff member of Northland Camp and Conference Center, is in the process of beginning a much needed and exciting camping ministry in Peru, South America. Tim and his wife, Cheryl, are full-time missionaries to Peru where he has been serving as an evangelist. Camps Abroad, the missions arm of the The Wilds Christian Camp, is working in conjunction with Tim to help him establish this new camp as a proto-type for other camping ministries in the Spanish-speaking world. Northland Camp set the goal of raising the first $5,000 for the camp through the Teen and Pioneer Village camp offerings. We Praise the Lord that after our 5 weeks of giving during these camps, $5,172.67 was given by the campers.
